Adult Women and Teen Girls (15+) build self-confidence and learn real world "practical self-defense" and "risk mitigation" skills to use against sexual assault and/or abduction in this 3-hour Women's SelfDefense workshop co-sponsored by the City of Walnut Creek's Arts and Recreation Program. Women’s Self Defense & Personal Safety: Mothers & Daughters (12-15) Fee: $139/both participants

Fee covers mother and daughter, with a sibling discount available for additional daughters. This course gives moms and their daughters a common experience and context for better communication around the topic of gender violence. Students build the skills, self-confidence, and situational awareness needed to avoid, escape, de-escalate, and/or defend themselves in almost any confrontational situation.
